Dr. Joshua Paul is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who focuses on cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He offers a full range of advanced intraocular lens options to help patients achieve clearer vision with less dependence on glasses.

A Pittsburgh native and graduate of Fox Chapel High School, Dr. Paul completed his ophthalmology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. He then completed fellowship training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, developing specialized proficiency in complex cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, areas that reflect his strong and ongoing clinical interest. He has performed thousands of eye surgeries and is regularly trusted with complex and high risk cases.

Dr. Paul is always looking for ways to improve the experience and outcomes of his patients, including adopting new technology when it can improve patient care. This commitment to innovation led him to become one of the first surgeons in Pittsburgh to implant the PureSee™ lens, a newer lens technology designed to provide an extended range of vision after cataract surgery.
